About Me

About me

Hi, please allow me to tell you more about me.. I’m a trained counsellor and psychotherapist offering therapy in the city of Manchester in the United Kingdom. I love my profession and am extremely passionate about what I do, which is helping people to make positive changes to their lives.

I first trained to be a Therapist in 2004 and my ongoing education leads me to be qualified in many areas of therapy. I started my training in the Carl Rogers Person-Centred approach in 2004 and then in 2005 studied for 4 years to be a psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis. I’m also accredited by the Association of Psychological Therapies in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I’ve been a therapist for a long time.

I believe the best way to achieve a better way forward is by acknowledging what you want and looking at how you are going to achieve this with a qualified therapist. I have worked with many clients over the years who suffer from anxiety, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, stress and numerous more negative situations. They all have one thing in common, they’re unhappy with their lives and want something to change for the better. This is where I can help. I also love working with couples and mainly use the John Gottman approach in my therapy sessions.

I understand how hard it can be to reach out and ask for help, talking to a total stranger about your life. The first step is usually the hardest. I offer all my therapy sessions via Zoom which breaks down barriers of location and makes my therapy more available to everyone.  You can contact me by clicking here.
